What exactly is typography? According to Wiki, it is the “art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable and appealing when displayed”. In other words, a process of arranging and styling the appearance of individual letters from A to Z. However, what you may not know is the many technical terms that were constructed to identify the makeup of these fonts and spacing. During that era, these terms were not widely known so it became like a secret code among typesetters.
